On the 25 of April six o'clock it was Anzac Day and Gallipoli D.Gallagher died at war and his name was D.Gallagher and he was a soldier. But in war he died at passchendaele. He died at the age of 30.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 11 and my teacher is Mrs Ramkolowan.

WW1 Letter to Parents
Dear Mum
Date: 1914 April
Day: Thursday 29
Somewhere in Turkey in a Trench with wet feet and sore ears.Dear Mum and Dad, I am writing while their is a break in the shelling there has been heavy fighting all night I have just come of watch. Before I snatch some sleep I thought I would write to you both to let you know that I am well and alive but I am smelling a lot of dead stench bodies.How are the brothers, and sisters I hope they are behaving themselves and helping you with your work at home. I saw Peter Douglas in Trench three the other day and he tells me that his sister Sharon Married George Smith I Must go to sleep now and we will continue this letter later.
